Roya Ghafele is currently a lecturer with the University of Oxford. Prior to that she was an international research scholar at the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley. Other than that she worked as an economist with the World Intellectual Property Organization, where she offered strategic advice to Governments in the Middle East and Asia on the leverage of indigenous intellectual property assets for value creation. She also worked as an economist with the OECD Trade Directorate and McKinsey & Company, as well as a professional ballet dancer with various theaters in Europe.
